pvr-150 on fedora 6

Finally got this working on my fedora 6 box.
The final command to see the correct channel was to change to us-cable-hrc, hence the command:
/usr/bin/ivtv-tune --freqtable=us-cable-hrc -c41
worked for me.

Basically followed the instructions here: http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php with changes for fedora 6. I definitely ran in to the wrong boot image being loaded. Look http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bugs/FC6Common for fedora 6 common problems. Run the command:
# rpm -q --qf='%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}\n' kernel
to make sure you're running an "i686" image. Like: kernel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6.i686 or kernel-2.6.18-1.2849.fc6.i686
